2006 Maxum 2400 Se with mercruiser 5.0 bravo 3 I replaced the impeller and thermostat temp running at 180 degrees also when I’m at 3000 Rpm I get an alarm and goes into guardian mode until I bring rpm lower then 3000k Rpm can someone guide me in the right direction to what might be causing that?

Try disconnecting the in-gear switch and see if this stops the issue

Test your pump outlet flow

At idle the bravo pump will fill a 2 gallon bucket in less than 15 seconds (that is the minimum flow you should see)

No way to know for sure the reason for alarm without a diagnostic scan tool. If you have vessel view or the mobile app system you can see fault history with that

Otherwise wag would be sea water pump pressure out of range, overspeed in neutral or overheat

What is the mobile app system?

It's a system designed to display engine information for a user through a mobile application on a device. It is aptly named vessel view mobile

Cheaper than diacom but limited in it's capabilities. It will show a user any active or stored faults plus various engine operating parameters however limited on deeper diagnostic information

Again, is the engine catalyst controlled?

Probably be best, but I really don't know why Merc would think a in-gear switch is a good idea. Like we wouldn't know when it's in gear above 2500 rpm. It would run fine with it disconnected
