Hi All,
I would love any opinions you might have on my situation. I pulled my 1996 20' Maxum with a Mercruiser 3.0L engine out of winterizing today, cleaning it up, starting the engine to get the Fogging solution out of the engine and a general check. I had the engine running for about 12 minutes and it just konked out on me and won't restart (it does turn over). Leading up to the end of that 12 minutes, it was running smooth while in neutral but it did die a few times as I tried to put it into gear. But, I did get it into gear a few times and it seemed to run fine until it died at that 12 minute mark.
I have tried to restart the engine with no luck several times throughout the day with no luck.
Any thoughts on what it might be would be welcome, as being a novice on engine work, I'll probably have to take it into a shop in Seattle.
Thank you!

Check to make sure that your shift interrupt switch isn't stuck/activated. More generally, check to see if you have spark.
