Mercruiser 3.0 stalls at 1000-1500 rpm.

New year new problems.
Swedish so English might be bad.
Boat starts and runs good on idle.
Runs smooth on idle with gear.
When i move the throttle engine dies, if im fast back to neutral it keeps running.
If i move throttle fast from idle to near max it works after about three tries.
When its running at around 3000 rpm there is no problems what so ever.
Had a friend spray gas in carb while moving the throttle and everything worked as it should.
Accelerator pump seems to work.
Only when going from idle to 1000-1500 rpms the engine dies. Once past 2000 engine is running great.

Any ideas what to look at?

Sounds like a problem with the shift interrupter until you mention the carb spray. I wouldn’t rule it out. Or the idle adjustment on the carb

I would be looking at the carburetor. Sounds like the acceleration pump circuit is plugged

The accelerator pump is where Id be looking.
What do you mean when you say, 'it seems to work'? You should see a jet of fuel squirting into each carburettor bore when the throttle is opened (flame arrestor / air filter off). If not, then the carb needs to come apart, be cleaned and all the jets and passageways checked for blockages, also the accelerator pump diaphragm for splits
Is the fuel filter full of dirt, and assembled correctly? When I bought my boat, the carb was a full of dirt, and soon after cleaning it was as bad again. Turned out the fuel filter had been assembled incorrectly, and the fuel (and dirt) was able to by pass the filter.

the carb and the gas filter cleaning carb and the new filter . the gasoline tank is the dirty ? my marvel mystery oil and the marine gas stabilizer treatment very good gas carb and the gas tank decades !
