Today I damaged the exhaust tube and bellows because of the lack of water. But the cylinders' pressure are still good. They are 140,140,140,130,130,140. How can I know the exhaust tube part No. and exhaust bellow Part No.?

I have noticed the tube Part No. is 32-90949-001

Should I also replace the part of water shutter assembly. I can take it off. So I am concerned that it was damaged too

While it could be considered a 50/50 split of changing it out need wise, one thing would be for sure is you don't really want the old one (or new one too) to fall down as that could cause issues too in some cases.

While Volvo penta has gone away of using them, you have a mercruiser so it might be considered better to play it to the safe side and change it out while you're in there... One is so you won't have to hear the slapping noise of the metal making you think the engine has major internal issues and two, to save further issues when it falls down.

There is some leaking oil. But I do not know where it is from.

Can somebody help me identify this issue? The engine oil is clean and good. I am sure the engine oil is the not same as this leaking oil.

There is some oil in the second pic. Is it possible leaking from here? Also What kind of oil should I add?

I am going to install the gimbal bearing. I'd like to know how the greese is pushed into the gimbal bearing? I cannot find the any hole from the gimbal bearing house by which can be used to push grease into gimbal bearing.

left gimbal bearing is old and I can see the new grease which I pushed in.

There's a grease nipple on the starboard side of the gimbal housing

Gimbal bearing failed to be installed. See attached file. Can I pull it out and install again. it the new out ring is broken. Maybe I can put the old outer ring back. What reason caused the out ring failed to be pushed? or The gimbal bearing is in the bad quality?

The photo to the right with the belt to the pulley is your power steering pump... Twist the cap about a 1/4 turn and the cap should come up and there will be a dip stick attached with a gauge to check the oil levels.

While there are a few types of oil to run the power steering pump with different colors, chances are mercruiser power trim and steering fluid was used and could be within the color you are seeing mixed in with water...or you could use Dextron III automatic transmission fluid (ATF)

The oil in the bucket is power trim fluid,

Or maybe your plastic power trim pump reservoir or fittings are leaking that run the stern drive up and down. 1690179361313.png

Time to clean and dry the bilge area under the engine really good and watch for oil leaks.

As for the bearing, if you can, 'try to pull the bearing out softly vs hammering it out if you're going to reuse it to help avoid potential damage.

Is that bearing a OEM Mercruiser bearing or aftermarket? What is the part number of it?

The housing where the u-joint bellows sits/mounts to appears either damaged/chipped out and some sort of epoxy applied. The new bellows may not seat correctly if that is the case. Come to think of it, it may have had an Bellows GHR kit installed or you may have to consider getting one yourself... GHR info here for you, http://www.ghrkits.com/GHRKIT/ghrkit.html

Is the gimbal bearing good? A piece of edge of u-joint bellow house was damaged and I applied the silicon and hope it can work. Tomorrow I will install the bellows.
