I have a problem with my Mercontrol lever. When i put the throttle at wide open it slips back...
Is there a screw or something at this control box to adjust it ?
Those older models didn't have a friction adjustment screw. Once the shifter stopped holding position, most start looking for a replacement. If you take it a part you will usually find parts are just worn. Sometimes you can find a way of adding a washer or something to increase tension, but other then that nothing much will work.
