Merc Alpha 1 exhaust manifolds help needed

I removed my manifolds from a merc 5.7 with cracked block. How do I test the manifolds? I'm concerned they might have freeze damage as well.

I've read of guys using acetone to detect leaks and do not trust this method.I don't have X-ray eyes.I take mine to a machine shop and have them vacuum and pressure tested to be sure there good.

I'd just get new. I got some this past summer because mine on my fresh water only boat had failed. It's the same age as yours.

Ayuh,... Block off all the Water passages, 'n add Air,... say 15 psi, 'n wait...

If it stays at 15 psi, no leak...
