Merc 9.8 - Voltage regulator & Lighting coils

I want to install the 5amp battery charge kit, but it is not available for my model (Serial# 6517178).<br />Which voltage rectifier and lighting coils can I use? If it is possible of course.<br /><br />Thanks.<br /><br />-Steve

does your engine have a lighting coil already and you are looking for a regulator or do you want the whole kit?

It does not have a lighting coil. So I need the whole kit. There isn't a kit listed for my motor, but I assume that motors similar to mine that have a kit available would work. Correct? Thanks.

I would say yes, but I dont know what motor would have a similar stator plate,
