Just had impeller changed by mech. When engine runs form about 20 min the flow from the telltale reduces then turns to steam. If I blow down tube then restart it flows agains but shortly after turns to steam. Pulled off side cover of water jacket and cleaned some salt/sand out.
Mechanic said it might be the gromet. If so where do I find the gromet. How do I change it.??? I want to save some dollars by doing it myself and mybe learn something. Don't know much about boat motors.
