Hello. I also have a 1969mod, 500, 50hp here in Norway. Do you know anyone who sells sets of decals? I am also trying to find a two wire tachometer as this is a manual start whitout alternator.
I ran a compression test tonight with an old gauge I had. I am not 100% about the gauge but I got 90-95 psi on all 4 cyl. What do these motors require to fire.
I have a 1970 Model 500 which I bought last year (sat for two or three years) and the compression was: cyl 1 - 110, cyl 2 - 112, cyl 3 - 116, and could not get my gauge into cyl 4 due to the covering blocking it somewhat.
