I'm surprised no one mentioned Dino. Had a voice like a fine Merlot.

Has anybody had any thoughts of how many of the above would be laughed off of American idle? How about Joe Walsh of the Eagles? If he would go on that show now and they did not know whom he was I wonder if he would make it as far as that Hung fellow ?

Neil Diamond. Mom, sister and I saw him last Sunday night in concert. Ahh, for 67 he can still sure do his thing. I mean sing of course. Hee hee. A memorable night. "Coming to America" and "I am I said". Some of my favorites
Bassy

Another one came to mind - George Beverly Shea, who's been with The Billy Graham Crusade since 1943. He's 96 and I heard him sing the other night. Still has an amazingly strong voice.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Marty Robbins; like Cash and willie, you can tell after the first words who it is.

Babs also is unique (Barbra Streisand), just has a bad head & voice for politics.
