I was wondering if anyone could tell me the maximum recommended hp for a 1967 16' Starcraft?

Look for the Coast Guard plate on it. That will tell you max HP etc.

There isn't any trim plate at all anywheres on the boat.

Mine is 85 and is a Jupiter model.

Mine looks exactly like yours except I don't have that "ridge" seperating the transom from the rest of the boat.

Mine's a 1970 SS it will take up to a 85
