hi guys i have a 84 mariner 115 hp that every time i put it in reverse gear the controls stick i have to raise the motor out of the water and rotate the propeller to get it to come out of reverse i know it is sticking in gear because you can return the controls to neutral and the starter will run but it is still in gear also when it does go into reverse the motor tries to go but then it stalls the motor the motor runs fine in foward gear thanks for the help in advance
