Mariner 40hp Temp sender part number???

Hi guys, Does anyone know what kind of temp sender below this is? and if possible a part number.

It has a pink and black wire and the following numbers on it - AS2 and Y100

Its from a 6E900 yamaha built mariner (2 stroke / 2 cyl)

P.S at what temperature should the sensor kick in so I could test it?

It is the thermo switch, part # 19 on diagram and Mercury part #87-815003M and retails for around $72.00 usd.

Thanks alot for that, could you tell me what manual you got that diagram from, that was the initial problem I had. I couldnt find the correct manual.
