mariner 115 serios problem

hi guys

today i was starting up my boat and i notice the motor casing was shakeing so i take it off and i saw one bolt from the bracket the hold the cover broke of inside so i shut the motor off and i grab my drill and start drilling out the old screw i drilled it out and then started the motor again so it can run when i started it i noticed water coming out of the hole were i drilled out the old screw

should i just get a new screw and retap it or replace the cylinder cover

Is this a bolt on the water jacket cover over the cylinder head? if so, it is normal for water to leak there. I would be concerned why the bolt broke. Did you get the motor that way?
