Re: marine wreckers?

There's one kind of like a wreckers out my way david. t's a guy who buys and parts out boats, but it's a 5 hour drive from my place to London. I make the trek 2 or 3 times a year to see family.
I found the one here by asking at a marina. Also know to the independent marine mechanics, who use it a lot more than the marinas.
There must be one close to you, maybe Grand Bend or Sarnia.

Re: marine wreckers?

I'll try and get the addresss, and maybe I can get the phone number also. If you were to send me the particulars of your needs, I might be able to see if they have it. Now this is not a huge place by any means. I think it's a part time thing.
But who knows, he might just have what you want.

Re: marine wreckers?

Not a wreckers as such but more like a flea market.

Sandy Cove Marine in Innisfill Ontario has an indoor flea market year round. An eclectic collection of boat parts. Fittings, gauges, bimini's, covers, decals, props, steering, etc etc etc. Always something different.

Very reasonable prices. From what I understand (unconfirmed) they are also operating a marine wrecking/salvage yard somewhere in the Honey Harbour area of Georgian bay. Call them for details.
