No, sorry about any confusion.
Traevon Jackson, point guard for Wisconsin is from Ohio. His father is Jim Jackson, and outstanding player for OSU, then NBA. Jim is on BTN (Big Ten Network) and Traevon played HS ball close to were I have family, so watching the games the bells started going off in this old head

Jim apparently was a better college player than he was in the NBA. During his 14 seasons, he played for 12 different teams.

As far as Traevon landing in WI, I assume WI did a better job recruiting.....

14 seasons is what it is. You got to have some skills. :lol:
I think trying to beat out Aaron Craft for starting point guard would make most players look elsewhere.

Traevon had a lot of hype in the Columbus papers when he was in HS, and with his dad's history it was a sad day when he went north, but better than "that school up north" as Woody would say.

Wisconsin was a great choice, it has everything it needs to win it all.

That said, it is possible for 3 big ten teams to make the final 4, and I'm all for that. Love my bucks, sent 3 kids to OSU, but follow the big ten regardless.

I see Whitewater is doing it in div. 3 basketball too. Must be something good in the water up there.

"Some" is right. If your any kind of a player at all, you don't bounce around to 12 teams in 14 years. He must of had barely enough skills to stay in the NBA.

Something must be seriously wrong with this years rankings. Stanford(10) beat Kansas(2). Way too many upsets this year, or so it seems......

Wichita State had the 98th ranked strength of schedule. The best teams they beat were BYU and St Louis. Not surprised Kentucky(un ranked team) beat them.

Louisville has the #55 strength of schedule which makes me think I shouldn't have picked them. We will see.
