Lost our internet last nite. Found it this a.m. I started pulling for UConn as the game progressed. Not that it would have been a big deal if they lost. It wasn't like WI was playing.......... Kentucky "should" be in the thick of things next year too.....
How did you know that's what we were going to do? Inflatable with new 25 e-tec went dead in the water... No power. Had to tow it back to the dock. Then took to the tinny with the 40. All was going great. Had a blast with the higher water, and the guys were doing well driving. Then one guy who is a little gung-ho took the helm and decided to turn where it was shallow. I was trying to get him to change course, but it was too late. He busted up the lower unit. So we had to call a neighboring FD to put there boat in and come get us. It was pretty hard to swallow, but lots of laughs.

Yeah, but I meant blowing up the inflatable, not blowing the lower on the tinny. And the neighboring FD won't let you live it down until they have to call your FD for help.

Yeah, THEY (neighboring FD with relatives in our FD) took lots of pictures. Lot's of comments and emails going back and forth and references to Gilligan's Island ... One guy was laughing so hard he puked! Ha!

Back to the NCAA, UK has a tradition of burning couches along the streets when they win a national championship. Brother and nephew have sent me lots of pictures of unburnt couches all along the Lexington streets ... :facepalm:
