I just got a 1975 merc 850 and noticed wire dangling from manual choke with screw and nut attached in eyelet of wire where does it connect? Is it to hole in choke linkage at top carb?
Manual choke will connect to black plastic or nylon arm that controls the two carb choke shutters. There should be an plastic or nylon eye for it to bolt to.
