Dunked the ol tub yesterday and saw she wasn't charging so I put her back on the trailer.
I have the electrics of a 97 350 Mag carb. Which means 55 amp mando alternator with internal regulator.
I had already bought a regulator for it as precaution. Alternators do just die.
So I put it in today and it charges, but it's over 15 volts .
I also have a rectifier, but that's a desolder and resolder thing .
What's the smart play?
