Stumbled onto this today. So cool!

Sea Ray 220 Sundeck Replica Model

Linked directly to a Sea Ray 220 Sundeck b/c it's the closest example they have to the Four Winns Horizon 200 I have on their site right now. But they'll make a model of any boat you have given a picture and access to some specs/blueprints/dimensions/etc.

Sadly it ranges from $1100 for a 12" model to >$3k for a 4' version. I'd love to have a detailed model of my boat to look at all winter long on my desk & dream about summer!

Oh ya, there's lots of places to get cheaper models of random boats. The cool thing about SD Model Makers is that they make a replica of your boat.

I won't be buying one anytime soon, but I thought it was pretty neat.

I grew up building wooden boats with my dad. Not kits, but from prints that we lofted into full size patterns. He always built a scale model before we started on the actual boat to work through the construction details and fiddle with details on cabin layout etc. I imagine he'd sit and stare at the finished models dreaming about the actual build and future adventures.
Sure wish he was still around.

They claim to based on a picture. I assume they have access to appropriate measurements, specs & whatnot to work from.
