I went with the black and white H20. Have had no trouble seeing the screen. Instead of spending the extra $100 on color I got the map software which included lake maps. It has worked flawlessly.

There isn't a lot of price difference in the G02 and the H20, but the G02 doesn't have the computer interface.

I got the H20 and it works great, You can down load some free inhanced lake maps from ther web site.
