Lower drive shaft seems to have wear around the upper seals. I can feel the difference and wondering if new seals would be ok, or is it time for a new shaft? Replaced upper seals and bellows in attempt to find why the drive gear oil was fairly milky.

The worn area can be repaired with a Speedy Sleeve which can be purchased at any bearing supply or even a NAPA store. If you can measure it it should be around .875. The sleeves are stainless and do not wear out.
They come with an installation kit but great care has to be used not to damage it .
