Hi, I have a 1988 gm 4.3L V6 merc I/O.
After a heavy rain storm I noticed that I had alot of water in the bilge. I pumped it out and took it for a ride. I noticed that the oil pressure was low at idle 18psi and when at around 3900 rpms it was at 28-34 psi. I am not sure if this is related to the water in the bilge. The oil looks clean and the water wasn't high enough to go into the dip stick. Also I am now seeing a little white smoke coming out of the breather tubes.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
