Low oil alarm sounds when key is in ON possition, engine not running. Oil tank is full. Alarm continues to sound when engine is running.<br />Changed oil sensor probe in tank. This did not correct the problem.
Same problem with my engine. Took the sensor out of the tank and used a small loose magnet to move up and down the sensor length. Everything worked properly. Must be the magnet in the tank has come loose as you stated. Is it repairable or does the tank have to be replaced ?
