Re: lost again

If the alarm sounds soon as the key is turned ON but before the motor is started disconnect the blue wires under the oil tank if this stops the alarm order a new tank as the float magnet has fallen off and is triggering the switch.

If the alarm only begins after the motor is started, IMMEDIATELY add oil to your fuel at a 50:1 ratio to protect your motor from serious damage while you test to determine the problem.

Re: lost again

If disconnecting the blue wires does not stop the alarm when the motor is not running then probably the alarm module is bad. It's a 2" square x 3/4" block with wires to the oil tank coming from it.

Re: lost again

The alarm module compares the pulses of the oil pump rotation sensor to the ignition pulses of a cylinder, any difference and the alarm sounds.

ADD OIL IMMEDIATELY to protect your motor.

THEN you can be sure that it is safe to run the motor for testing.

It is possible for the alarm module to be bad, it is also possible for the oil pump drive gear on the crank to be slipping, or simply a spark plug misfiring.

If it is an oiling poroblem you risk frying the motor, add the oil.
