glad I'm a Chiefs fan...

Pats fan here. May the best team win. It's a great matchup on paper.

One thing that we can all be sure the NFL gives zero f#@$% about is municipalities spending tax dollars on their shiny new stadiums. And those military expositions that we're seeing every week now? Yup, the military pays the NFL for those appearances. With our money of course. It's pretty disgraceful and I think more people should be aware of this stuff.

At least they ended their absurd tax exempt status. They're a $10 billion industry in annual revenue.

I think St Louis did dodge a financial bullet. For a game that I love to watch there's a lot not to like.

All the better that Los Angeles isn't paying a dime for the Ram's stadium.

Not ticket sales in my case. Personal Seat License (PSL) prior to new stadium build. One time up front payment of $20,000 per seat (for my seat location) for both NYG and NYJ season ticket holders. 82,000 seats X 2 teams X $5000 avg PSL = $820,000,000. That's what NYG and NYJ used to build their stadium. Teams (NFL really and it trickles down)do make huge dollars from TV, but not build a new stadium money in one year.
I would have told them to pound sand and not renewed.

I did not renew. I had tickets from 1976 until 2009. I had 4 seats on 45 yd line 12 rows from field. Sold my seat rights for a pretty profit and it is now helping my daughter and son through college.
