Based on the graphically rendered letters that I had to type in for verification before accessing the forums, I'd say some sort of cyber-attack. Distributed Denial of Service, something.
I've never had to do that before - is that new to anyone else?
The IT guys were working their backsides off to get us back up and running again. iboats spent some $ on this fix, also. They are working hard so we have a place to "play" and share information. A big thank-you to all who have been working so hard to get us back in the game!
Yes there are at least once a month we have our site probed..just a little dealership. The revnue loss from just a day can be enormous ..Anywho the dating site is down that's good..the wife was getting a little annoyed seeing those innocent local girls.......
Probably would not be a good week for a newcomer to post a complaint about something in the forums that they don't like...such as pop-ups ....or why there is not a "Buy, swap, or trade" forum in here...etc.....
Might be some serious "piling on".
