Hi y'all!
Looking to replace the fuel pump pump diaphragm of a 1991 Mercury elpto 75hp 3cyl 2stroke. I believe the oem kit I need is 42909A...anything else I should change while im in this area of maintenance? Or any gaskets i might need that are not in the kit?
Thanks guys!

What trouble shooting have you done ?----Installing a fuel pump kit might even put more fuel into the carburetors.------Does the manual fuel pump on the hose go hard ?

No it doesn't stay hard all the time sometimes i can squeeze and sometimes its hard. Ive changed the primer bulb this year. I have a fuel and water separator running from it. I have a separate tank i do my own mix (i've bypassed the oil injection, never had a problem for the last three years). It runs, but it burps, all three plugs are rich, top and mid plugs are rich, bottom is the worst.

A ruptured fuel pump diaphragm would put fuel directly into the engine.----Easy thing to check.

Since you are here i have a question, if theres a leak in the fuel lines leading up to the carbs would it do something like the symptoms im experiencing?

Is there a way to check without taking it appart? Like unhooking the hose from the fuel pump "out" and performing a certain operation?
Thx man!
