Long or short shaft. ( opinion )

From the pic, do you think this is a long or short shaft?

Back in the dark ages, longs were few and far between. A simple tape measure won't require further discussion.
well that settles it, guess im going to have to pick this up and see if i can breath a little fire into this dragon. lol

Photographs, without Context, are not good for estimating Sizes. As mentioned before, get a tape measure, and measure from the top of the Transom to the AV Plate. It will probably be in between a Long and a Short Shaft.

That looks like a 1940's vintage Johnson. If so, chances are that the coils are still good. As long as it isn't stuck and you dress the points, it may start right up. At worst, maybe a carb cleaning.
