Re: Lone Star boat

I am restoring the boat. It has a fresh new gel coat. I have pictures of the boat before and like I said it was in near prefect condition. No fiberglass cracks, chrome in beautiful shape, all gauges and lights working. And you mention the layout, that's why I came to y'all. I've grown up around boats all my life. I've looked at thousands of pictures and have not seen the boat in any catalog. The title is not much larger than a 3x5 postcard without much info on it. Of course it has lone star as the manufacter but it is listed as a 1967. And if I am reading the vin numbers right it says it is a 1965. If you noticed the front light it is very unique also.

Re: Lone Star boat

Tx some times older tittles had mis information. My 1957 LoneStar was a 18ft El Dorado but titled as 20ft because ov the 2 ft transom brackett. Some are titled on what the owner thinks it is. Registation is only gong by what you tell them.

I have never seen one with the windsheild like that. Maybe it was a custom build?

What ever it is COOL!!! More photos please!

Really nice restoration job; aka last picture you posted. I hope you stay with the OEM colors when you redo your engine. That rig ought to turn a lot of heads at the boat ramp.

Lonestarb65009.jpg From the FiberGlassics library. It was called the 14 ft "Mystic". It's in a 1965 brochure.

Re: Lone Star boat

Thanks for more photos and glad info was found.
A bench accross the back would be cool-keep yer battery & gas tank under the seat! Would free up floor space.
