location for zinc anode on OMC 85hp?

Does anyone know where a zinc anode can be placed on a 1975 Johnson 85hp Crossflow V4? Also what type of anode does this engine use and where are they sold? Manual is no help.

They did not come with anodes so you have to bolt them to the top of the anti-ventilation plate. Use stainless bolts and be sure that you have continuity by checking with an ohmmeter. Try to avoid the trim tab when drilling the holes.

Part # 123009 has threaded holes for mounting which makes it easy. http://www.boatzincs.com/omc_outboard.html

The T-20 Teardrop Zincs also work well.
