Update power to the switch now after turning battery switch to all. The pump I am working on now is the freshwater pump.C
Well thanks for all the replies! I decided to mess with the front pump first as it was not coming on either. I took it out and hooked it up to 12 volts and it ran! Now I have to figure out why no power from the switch. Also upon removing it is missing a cover on the outlet side. See photo. Can I get a replacement?
Thanks,
Brian
I tested the positive wire on the live well pump and it showed 12 volts. with switch on but pump does nothing. I will try touching both the positive and negative wires directly to the battery. I am thinking maybe a bad ground. Will let you all know.I would first confirm you're getting power to the pump, first by checking fuses, then power in and out of the switch. If you're getting power out of the switch, then I would pull the pump and see if there is debris jammed inside and bench test it. If that fails, replace the pump. They don't last a long time.
