Linkage clip for a merc 4,0

I just replaced a broken shift lever on my Merc 4.0 and everything went well except the linkage clip for the neutral safety switch broke. Does anyone know where I can get these little buggers? I have included a pic of a good one.

your local auto parts store would have a selection of those clips. used to repair door latches and tail gate latches. beyond that, you can buy from mercury

Look at fuel linkage clips for older Fords and are made of spring steel.

Picked up a pack of assorted clips from O"Riellys for under $5.00 and one of them fit perfectly!
