lifting top part off a tri hull

i have a 79 monarch mcfast5 and need to fix the plumbing to the live wells. anyone ever split the two parts of a tri hull apart and if so where do i hook to on the top part to lift it up?

A friend of mine and I did this to replace a transom. It warped the bottom shape since we didn't support it right. I would try to avoid splitting it if you can. If you cannot avoid it then try to build some sort of support on the hull before beginning to separate the pieces. You're probably better at this stuff than I am, but chances are it'll never be the same again. Good luck!

you would be a lot better to move this over to the dry dock section( Boat Restoration, Building, and Hull Repair ). Those guys often split the tops off and can give you the step by step advice you need.
