Here I thought you were asking about something different... That lid I do put down out of respect for any ladies which may need to use it after I'm finished.

I had to vote no to both, as I don't generally wear hats. On the very rare occsion I wear a hat, I do remove it when I eat. I can't recall the last time I wore a hat to a restaraunt, even fast food.
Dont yalls head get cold. What is the world comming to people running around with nekkid head in the winter time? Didnt yalls grandmother tell you not to go out bare headed, that you would catch cold?

I should have put a 4th question. I AM a lady and you damn well better tip your hat.
I bet ever one a you guys who said ya don't wear hats wears a ball cap or something when you go fishing.

I excluded fast food joints from my definition of "restaurant" for purposes of this survey. Also excluded campgrounds & boat docks from my definition of "on the street".
Tipping your hat may be considered as sexual harasment. So I just wink so theres no confusion..

BTW I only wear a hat when my head is cold.
On the rare occaision I wear a hat I remove it indoors period. I'm not sure where that got pounded into me, home or miltary service or somthing but I get a little tense when I see somone wearing a hat inside.
Ive also seen it during the National Anthem at Sporting events. Just another example of how various courtesies and mannors have been eroded.

Some of these guys will no doubt want to fight or shoot somebody over "respect" but not demonstrate basic polite behaviors.
I sometimes weat a hat outdoors. Almost always wear a cap with big visor for the sun on a boat. Never wear a hat indoors. It makes you look like a retard.
Hats are a tool. (for me)
Only wear a hat when needed.
Huntin/Fishin/Boatin or Workin/Flying kites in the rain.
What would be the point of wearing a hat inside?
I always wear a hat, I tip it when saying hi to females, I take it off when indoors or during the anthem or prayers.
navy taught me how to wear it with the bill facing fwd so I am never lost, I am always following bill.
when going indoors or in a hospital area the ball cap brim can be tucked into the belt that I always wear and carried safely. and yes I ALWAYS carry a hankerchief.
I had to answer no to both questions because i don't wear a hat.
If I did I would most certainly take it of in a resturant, as for tipping it when I saw a lady maybe not.
I only tip my hat for older "laddies".....or the goooood lookin women in their prime.

I dont wear my hat in Church or fine dining, but for a casual restaurant or fast food, it keeps old baldy warm.
