As much as I dislike that woman, I really don't think too much should have been made of the comment. She probably could have said the same thing, listing the priorities, without sounding so much like Marie Antoinette.<br /><br />But, since we're on the subject of a wannabe First Lady, ain't Laura Bush a breath of fresh air? She seems to studiously avoid saying anything negative about anyone else. That is class. Contrast her to her predecessor, Hillary "Imelda" Rodham.<br /><br /><br />-dd-

But, imagine this woman at major international/diplomatic functions. She can speak five languages and can't communicate effectively in any of them. <br />Parish the thought. Ditto Pointer94 and JB.<br />They need medical and food and clothing and housing and water. <br />She meant, let's worry about the life-threatening crapola FIRST, then worry about clothing.<br />I don't think much of the messenger, but the message was dead-on. She priortised it correctly.

12Footer, I'm with you on the first part of your post.For the most of the other posters on this one.Try and put her words in context and in spite of your obvious dislike of anything having to do with Kerry, you will probably agree with what the lady said.And yes she does have some very impressive college credentials. Boomyal,your opinion is, shall we say .., interesting.

I see nothing wrong with what she had to say!!! Medical,water ,food then maybe clothes and the kids can run naked for a few days!!! Oh ya I almost forgot, "No frozen foods!!!!" I bet some dumb --- already sent that package!!!!
