Lenco Trim Tabs power fuse blows

The fuse on the power input to the switch on my Lenco Trim Tabs is blowing. I noticed my diver put on some very large anodes. Could that cause the problem?

No...I suspect one of your trim tab motors has failed.

I think one of the motors has failed also and it is drawing high amps. Check your grounds and connections. Put an amp meter on it and the circuit. You could have a short to ground.

Concur, I have a CMC tilt trim and when the brushes started going bad it popped the breaker a lot.

Good place to start looking anyhow.
