No, too early for me. But I did see her on The Colbert Report last night.

Having a rod three grams lighter is going to make for one very out of balance engine. I'm shocked it held together! The last Lotus motor I had balanced was to a TENTH of a gram across the rod and crank assy.

Re: Kansas NASCAR

Heard part of Kenseth's news conference. He basically said the punishment was "grotesque and bordered on shameful"..... Of coarse Chocolate Meyers thought it was just fine. He said if NASCAR doesn't put the hammer down, how far will the next team push the envelop...

I hear Montoya's sponsor is Depends......... Whatever pays the bills, I guess..... lol
Depends on the #42: Longtime partner of the Target Chip Ganassi Racing program, Kimberly-Clark, will feature the Depend brand on the #42 Chevy SS at Richmond International Raceway. Juan Pablo Montoya will drive the black Chevy SS with Depend branding under the lights Saturday night. Depend is the market leader in the adult incontinence category in North America.(Earnhardt Ganassi), see an image of the car on the #42 team paint schemes page.(4-23-2013).

Hamlin is out for Richmond....

And yet Kenseth drove it 400 miles cranking up to 9 grand or better without noticing anything wrong, as far as we know. I ws wondering if the 3 grams would be enough to throw the engine seriously out of balance. Also wondered what the weight variation was on the other 7 rods.

Re: Kansas NASCAR

Matt Kenseth - "The average weight of all the rods was well above the minimum -- 2.5 (grams) above the minimum at least. There was one in there that was way heavy."

Toyota Research and Development chief Lee White - "This is a total screw-up on our part,'' White said. "I'm not going to point fingers at anybody. This is on my head. We neglected to double- and triple-check a shipment of parts from a European vender."

There you go ... blame it on the Europeans!:eek:

TRD has some serious butt kissing to do to JGR. Gibbs has to be totally POed at TRD.

Gibbs is in a news conference as we speak. I guess out of the 10 TRD motors that have been inspected, 8 have been Gibbs......
