I remember my grandfather making a simple aeration system in his tank much like you would find in a live well and it did make a difference in taste and smell.
I’m very spoiled where I live now as our water supply is amazing and needs little to no treatment before it reaches our homes. When we go away some where I have a hard time drinking tap water as it taste bitter or like chlorine.

I have to say I'm quite spoiled as well. We do exactly what is needed, no more and no less and really do spit out some high quality H2O. We do chloraminate except when we do flushing and free burn the system so you don't end up with a chlorine taste outside that period. We also do lab testing for neighboring towns and it is shocking how much worse most public water is.

We're not getting that.....yet....but....I fired up my 28 year old Toro 2 stroke snowblower with its Suzuki 5 hp and all seems good with it.
I have 4 sets of mounted snow tires in the garage for all of our vehicles, before I retired I always mounted them up every winter but since I've been working part time, I can always change my day if the roads are bad. So now they are taking up room but you never know lol.

Nice picture. Calling for a minimum chance of a tiny bit of snow here tomorrow, then rain. Drove through a town earlier where they brined the roads already. Damn car disolver ☹️

I still love the snow. And I somehow became important enough at work that they send a plow truck to come get me if needed so I don't even need to worry about driving my own vehicle in it....

I love the snow but then again we don’t get that much here. But when we do its a mess and paralyzes the down town areas as there is no where to pile it up. I don’t care much for the ice.

We used to regularly get snow like that, it’s why we have 3 Jeeps & a Subaru, but nothing in the last 5 winters….
I hear ya.....haven't used the plow blade on my side by side, nor my big snowblower in three years. If it is gonna be cold....let it snow....if no snow then let it be 70 degrees.....
