Nice picture.

It looks like that tree supports lots of life and is also struggling with life itself.

Looks a lot like a painting in the background.

My Grandfather had on of those Naphtha Coleman Stoves. My Grandmother and Mom cooked many Fish Fries at the Lake on it.

never been in one, but always like the look of the evinrude/omc boats even back then when I was about 10.

We had that one for 3 summers, 75, 76, and 77. Very well constructed. They rode real nice in Calm Water, but really pounded in Chop(not much deadrise in that Hull. They were very stable while not moving, and it steered real nice, it would simply change directions with no skidding or threat of tripping. It had a very flat Wake. For a 16 ft, there was a lot Cockpit room, better than I have in my current 19 ft. In 77 I put the Bow of the boat above, into the water, coming over a wave. The wave in front came up and over, and the boat took on a lot of water. I and the passenger beside me, didn't get wet, the guy behind me was completely soaked. There was about 4 inches of water in the boat after that, took the pump a bit of time to expel it. The boat floated very level at rest. It had been repainted a very nice, Electric Blue(?).
45 yrs later, It is still one of my favorite Boats. I just wish I had taken more pictures of it.

The water looks a little weird here cause, due to me removing myself and some little Cutie, who had been riding as Observer, out of the pic

I'm tossing as we speak. Going to sleep b4 2 would be early. Since my daughter has left the house I use her bed, almost every night for the last couple years...
Also get up and have few snacks....

i'm asleep 830 to 9 every night and sleep solid 4 hours, then usually i have my morning 'naps' until 3-4 and get up but if i can't get into the naps i'll go to sofa because quite frankly i don't want to make two beds every morning. Besides, those to are great snugglers. They are not allowed in our room or the guests rooms. No snacks for me, occasional glass of wine helps tho'.

This came up on my FB today - Miles our boat cat. Loved the weekends on the boat especially when we were cruising. He would sit there or on the dash right at the window vent.
