We had that one for 3 summers, 75, 76, and 77. Very well constructed. They rode real nice in Calm Water, but really pounded in Chop(not much deadrise in that Hull. They were very stable while not moving, and it steered real nice, it would simply change directions with no skidding or threat of tripping. It had a very flat Wake. For a 16 ft, there was a lot Cockpit room, better than I have in my current 19 ft. In 77 I put the Bow of the boat above, into the water, coming over a wave. The wave in front came up and over, and the boat took on a lot of water. I and the passenger beside me, didn't get wet, the guy behind me was completely soaked. There was about 4 inches of water in the boat after that, took the pump a bit of time to expel it. The boat floated very level at rest. It had been repainted a very nice, Electric Blue(?).
45 yrs later, It is still one of my favorite Boats. I just wish I had taken more pictures of it.
The water looks a little weird here cause, due to me removing myself and some little Cutie, who had been riding as Observer, out of the pic
