P40 Warhawk and a P38 Lightning. Only a couple of the planes here. I've never been to Oshkosh / Air Venture before, and I'm absolutely amazed at it.

That is the Goodyear blimp. He did some night demonstrations that were pretty fun to watch. Heat dome wasn't too bad. The locals thought it was pretty hot, but for a dude from Tennessee, it was rather pleasant

@GA_Boater I have a few more. I didn't take too many ... didn't take the good camera, wasn't quite aware of what I would see and I certainly couldn't get good shots of them in the air.

Two oddballs that were fun to read about:

Blackfly is a light aircraft that will fly sort of like a RC Quadcopter. They are supposed to start delivering them in the next two years, but I don't know if that is US or overseas. They've got about 4,000 flights in this thing.

This is a Yak110. Look it up online. Two Yak 55s glued together with a GE J85 jet (same as a T38) strapped on for fun:

Hey @southkogs , if you need some good places to eat or drink, let me know. I grew up about an hour to the east.

@Scott Danforth thought about you and WIMUSKY on the way up. Had to stay in New London because I didn't book soon, and I was working a good hunk of the show in an exhibit. If I go again, I'll for sure have you suggest some places.

Had a really good pike dinner at a place called The Waters in New London, and ate Saturday at Fox River Brewing Co. That was pretty tasty too. Didn't get to try too many of the beers tho.

Already home. Was only able to make a half week outta' the scheme, and had to be back in the saddle today. So I was up there Thursday through Sunday, drove home yesterday.

If I can figure some cheaper accommodations, I'll do it again. Probably go earlier in the week and stay at least one more day.
