I would go outside and look and nothing. 20 minutes later my neighbor would post pics. I would leave viewing the 9ers win to go check and nothing … “oh, you just missed it.” Happened 3 different times. I gave up.

It was a first for me and unexpected so very cool. I had to google it to be sure that’s what I was seeing. I guess there is a storm in space that has brought them my way.
It’s been on my bucket list to go and see them.
I had a family trip booked to Iceland and it was canceled by Covid and we never made it.
So now I can check it off my list

We recently took a cross country road trip. 6500 miles, 16 days. Made it all the way to New Hampshire. Beautiful country!!!

I love Vermont. I haven’t spent a ton of time there but back when my son was playing hockey we went to several tournaments there and I just loved going. I can’t remember where is was but I had a fried chicken salad sandwich one time that still to this day is the best sandwich I ever had.

Great pics. Spent many summer family vacations in Vermont. Lot of vivid memories of my grandfather during those times.

If you like covered bridges and get to southeast PA. Bucks County has a bunch of them still in service.

I always wanted to get a pilot's license but found out I get serious air sickness. So that was off my list. But would have liked own my own small plane if it wasn't for that...

We love flying the float planes into the folks place on Lopez island from Seattle . Pricey so don't do it often

Just spent a week in Bermuda.
All the locals thought we were crazy for coming in the winter but we like getting away from the busy life. This was are front and back yard.

We did jamicia one year over Thanksgiving. Bit cool, rough waters but nice and quiet. And cheap. Flew out thanksging day and back next Tuesday the airports we quiet

I went to Jamaica with my mom when I was 14 or 15 and I still remember what a beautiful place it was. It’s in my future plans just don’t t know when yet.
Bermuda was not cheap but being from Martha’s Vineyard I’m used to that. The people were Great and so friendly and the food was great as well. Didn’t have a single thing that wasn’t very tasty.
And the beers at the Dock Yard Brewery went down very well. I’m a sucker for the micro brewery’s.
Had a couple light rain days and temps were low 70’s just perfect for us. Water was a bit chilly for my aging bones but the kids enjoyed it and we all came home with a tan.
