I remember that time. I probably wouldn't like it much if I had to deal with it all winter.
i do miss snow. I'm from MO and if yer gonna be cold and grey all winter, snow makes it better. Just spent an hour towing the fake grandkid neighbor around the neighborhood on my garbage can lid behind the truck.

This year we had a Snowless Christmas and a Snowless New Year. It was Wonderful, the Temps were a couple of degrees below Freezing, until last week when they went into the Toilet. Today an Inch of the Disgusting Stuff fell. However the Temps are rising it is currently -10F, and by next Thursday it will be Highs of 28F and Lows of 13F. Which is quite a bit above average. 3 1/2 months till it becomes High Humidity Season until November. I guess I should clean the 5 dehumidifiers I have in the Meantime

Had some visitors this morning. I am not a marine biologist nor do I speak dolphin but I think it was mom and junior and junior was told to catch a fish and eat or your not leaving the canal. They made 2 runs up the canal together then mom stayed down at the bend and it seemed that every time the little one got down near mom she sent junior back up the canal. After playing with a few fish by throwing them in the air junior must have got the hang of catching his own food. they where in our short canal about 45 min

Our Christmas was brown too. Been a mild winter, not enough snow in the northern part of the state to use snowmobiles. Southern part has plenty for now. This year I realized I kinda like just 3 seasons...

Where I am, we only have 2 seasons, Winter and Summer. Spring and Fall are 2 week Transition Periods, so I can't call them Seasons.
Currently in a Heat wave, temps are hovering around -11C, which is about 10F, beats a week ago when it was -45F

I love seeing those Old Motors. Every Model Year was something to look forward to, to see the 5hp increase on the inline 6s and/or V4s
