You sure do meet the creme dela creme of society when you go to these jury selections. I think some of the potential jurors they pull from this so-called "pool" haven't seen the light of day in years and it makes me wonder if they are competent enough to serve as juror.

3 yrs ago I registered to vote in the new district and I was soonafter summoned to serve. If you don't want to serve, don't register to vote and don't vote. Personally voting is my most favorite right as a citizen because in some states the felons can't vote and that makes me smile when I can and some cannot!

Here's one for you guys... When I served on a jury we all had to go out to lunch as a group, walk down the hot streets of Las Vegas with baliff in tow, to the Golden Nugget buffet. Ah,,, prime rib for lunch every day

Couldn't say anything about any of it.....in all the 50+ years, I've never been called for jury duty, and from what others have told me that have been called, I'm glad I'm not on the list...
