You sure do meet the creme dela creme of society when you go to these jury selections. I think some of the potential jurors they pull from this so-called "pool" haven't seen the light of day in years and it makes me wonder if they are competent enough to serve as juror.

3 yrs ago I registered to vote in the new district and I was soonafter summoned to serve. If you don't want to serve, don't register to vote and don't vote. Personally voting is my most favorite right as a citizen because in some states the felons can't vote and that makes me smile when I can and some cannot!

Here's one for you guys... When I served on a jury we all had to go out to lunch as a group, walk down the hot streets of Las Vegas with baliff in tow, to the Golden Nugget buffet. Ah,,, prime rib for lunch every day :D

Couldn't say anything about any of it.....in all the 50+ years, I've never been called for jury duty, and from what others have told me that have been called, I'm glad I'm not on the list...
