I quoted 38k for a new Judge 22cc after a sea trial last week. The boat came with a 150 Honda, leaning post, CE Smith T-top, center console, controls, gages (tach and fuel), QL tabs, breaker panel, bilge pump, navigation lights, power socket, sea star hydraulic steering, cleats, washdown pump.
Now here comes the question......I can pick up a Judge 22 hull and trailer combo for 12 or 13k. I can pick up all the parts and the motor to rig the hull aftermarket. $7500 Suzuki 140, $1500 Smith T-top, $1000 Sea Star Hydro steering, $1000 Tabs, $800 Hammerhead leaning post/ live well combo, $500 Todd center console w live well, $650 Lowrance LMS 527 combo unit. After all is said and done ( pumps, plumbing, through hulls, electrical, lights, labor rates, etc...) do you think this is an option I should explore? Or is this too much of a hassle.....or will it cost me just as much in the end? Thanks!
