i have a 1980 2 cyl 60 hp. gears are gone i have stripped it down. What year of legs are changable? I spoke with a guy out of town he has one off a johnson 50 hp. thinks it was a 2 cly. does not no the year says its a olive green colour. would sure like to find out if it would work as it is a good price.

It would certainly help a whole bunch if you have the model #'s off the motors. but to be sure, check the bolt pattern on both of the lower units, also the driveshaft length as well as the splines on the shaft end.
