Yup, that's a 1990.

Go to Engine FAQs, coopdvl. Do the troubleshooting in there.

Good luck. :)

Welcome!!

Go to the main forums page and it's at the top.

I see you checked for spark. But you didnt say if it was there or not. We'll assume it was, right?

Not common but not unususl. Usually it's carbs but you said you cleaned them. Did you install new kits?

Do you have spark?

Again -- you checked spark. Does it have spark?

Re: johson 60 hp

Either you don't have any spark or its very weak, or as was mentioned, the flywheel key has sheared or begun to shear which upsets timing. With fuel, air, spark and proper timing it has to at least attempt to run. You are missing one or more of the above.

Re: johson 60 hp

One more thought -- did you check spark on ALL cylinders. If you are spraying fuel into a cylinder with no spark, the other cylinders will not fire if there is a fuel problem. Are the plugs getting wet? If so, you have a spark problem. If not, you have a fuel problem.

Are you sure you have spark with the plugs in?
