I bought a Johnson 6hp seahorse off a freind,it was just laying on the floor in the corner of his garage w/junk piled on it.Didnt get a manual or any information on it. Model # CD-22M , Serial # J 2526682, I think it's a 1965 but not sure, can anyone tell me if I'm right on the year an need to know the fuel mix and spark plug gap. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Tashasdaddy,I did get the motor set up in garage this evening.Put a 5 gal. bucket of water under it,mixed some 34:1 fuel and it fired 3 to 5 pulls sounds great.Awesome, I'm going to take your advice on the oil and check the other things out to.Thanks for your advice.

you need a bigger bucket!! the water has to come 1/2 up the leg for the water pump to prime. your oil mix is 50:1. i use a garbage can.
