I'm on the process of purchasing a kicker motor . Can across a Johnson 6.5 hp that looks in good condition. I'm having a problem with the model number for identification. The model is BJ7RSI.
Recognize the motor is made on Belguim -B. Johnson- J. 7 -6.5.hp. R - rope. I cant figure out what the S and I refer to. I think the motor is a 1986? . Can anybody lend a hand at identifying this motor? Does it have points or cdi?
